Nuevo Vallarta (New Vallarta) is the best area in Jalisco/Nayarit. It is 15 minutes from the Puerto Vallarta airport in a safe hotel zone on the Banderas Bay. The ocean is warm with medium to small waves. Great for swimming or boogie boarding.

Acqua Bay is the perfect place for a winter getaway... Warm sunny days and temperate ocean waters.
This is a place to relax and re-energize. This is a residence not a resort. There is a bar and tables where you can bring your own lunch and cooler for drinks. Coolers provided.
Miami style architecture, 2 large infinity pools, one lap pool at the sand, private cabanas and tables and chairs surrounding the bar area for your own lunch party.
Sunsets are most beautiful in Nuevo and there are seating and lounging areas for watching the sunsets, having a drink or conversation.
There are covered individual cabanas around the pool as well as tables and chairs and hammocks to rest and read.
The friends and guests are mostly Canadians Mexicans and Americans, very fun group varying in ages. Also great for kids.
Miles of sand and beach, collect sea shells, watch dolphins, boggie board or just float in the warm waters. There is golf, parasailing and jet skiing near by.
The surrounding towns are eclectic and authentic. Shopping for silver is a must. Dining alfresco is an every day occurrence. Most of the restaurants in nearby Bucerias are on the sand, serving fresh fish and shrimp.
Several first class golf courses near by and a great water park for all ages.
Driving is easy if you want to rent a car, but there are Taxis available next door at the Samba Resort or buses are also available.
There is plenty to do or nothing, miles of sandy beaches, collecting sea shells or just walking to the flea markets.
